Definitie

Tijdstip ontstaan:

• Vroeg ≤ 24h
• Laat >24h

Locatie:

• Intraluminaal: d.w.z. bloeding in tractus digestivus
• Extraluminaal: d.w.z. bloeding buiten tractus digestivus

Ernst:

• Mild:
• o Daling Hb <3 g/dl oftwel 1.9 mmol/l
• o Bloedtransfusie tot 3 PC’s
• o Geen verdere therapeutische acties
• o Geen hemodynamische instabiliteit
• Ernstig:
• o Daling Hb >3 g/dl oftwel 1.9 mmol/l
• o Bloedtransfusie > 3 PC’s
• o Hemodynamische instabiliteit
• o Invasief ingrijpen nodig zoals: angiografie, embolisatie of relaparotomie
