Doel: Onderzoeken of RFA gevolgd door chemotherapie een verlenging van leven kan geven t.o.v. chemotherapie alleen (huidige standaardbehandeling)
Ontwerp: Gerandomiseerd gecontroleerd multicenter klinische studie
Populatie: Patiënten met een lokaal irresectabel pancreascarcinoom zonder afstand metastasen na 2 maanden inductie chemotherapie bestaande uit gemcitabine monotherapie of FOLFIRINOX
Interventie: RFA plus gemcitabine monotherapie of FOLFIRINOX
Vergelijking: Gemcitabine monotherapie of FOLFIRINOX
Primaire eindpunt: Algehele overleving
